What a day!

Well yesterday was sure filled with fun & excitement.

Our friends had organised a BBQ for my DH birthday and we organise his sister to babysit, well she turned a round yesterday and changed her mind and started to spread rumors that were not try. So hubby and i head round to sort the situation out, lets just say 2 hous later we were talking to a brick walland we got all our stuff and told her never to ask us for help again. For those people that dont no she recently moved up here as she needed urgent support and help, since she has been here we have gone back wards and now that far back i think it is o late for my help, she needs professional help.

Anyways to top it off it all got blown back p into my face as the mother inlaw was agreeing to the daughter that i was at fault etc. Until my Dh got wiff of it and nipped it in the bud so we are hardly on talking terms with the family which is good as whe they are around there is trouble.

So after all that i had to think of someone to baby sit my children so we could still attend the BBQ, well i thought i would give my dear aunt Cath a try, and she agreed we were stoked. So i started getting the kids ready wen uncle tony rung with some bad news. Aunt Cath was unwell and she could no longer have the kids, but they organised for my other aunty gail and haylee to have my kids. I just laughed, that was unreal of them to do that. So thankyou very much unc, aunt and haylee for the weekend i really appreciate it.

Hope your are on the mend cath! i am thinking of you.

So i set off to drop the kids off. Charlee loved haylee singing songs, she would dance and now haylee has taught charlee a song. Cooper run the household like always and poor Ziggy will be sleeping fo te next few weeks as he had lots of play time.

Now my DH had een called into work and he was very under the weather and i am set to go to work. goodie!

I made a quick vegie bake and chicken kiev's.

Thanks for your view please leave a message

newspaper clipping

what perfect timing. i placed this ad in the
paper weeks ago and i hear it made the
register on monday. this is the best pic i have
of my dad. and i hope he is proud and cheers
him up. He is such an amazing person specially
when it comes to his little charlee. Dad puts a little extra effort in and it helps me out a lot. In motivation, dealing with situations and coping.
Mum is rally good to but gets a little stressed
if her house is messy, and there is lots of noise
about. I guess the kids and i can say we are lucky to have these people in our lives.
the register made a new errors, but we will
manage. they mixed cooper and charlees names up.

charlee's school success

Recieve a phone call yesterday from her school, there was a sales producton manager there promoting some whiteboard blackboards, the hvenlee kids use. He spot charlee having a go on the equipment and asked could they take photos as she would be a great production seller.

When they rang and asked could they do that i was over the moon and said ye i am proud of her and would love to share her with other people. So now she will star in a film clip and also in books or brochures.

Well done charlee girl. gee she has come a long way since 1 year ago. She is now tlaking on the telephone and able to hold the phone to her ear. She can feed her self, it does get messy so i tend to help as i hate mes. She can use a cup with assistance.

Colour and use a pen or pencil. At schoool they are working on he making choices so she chooses what she eats at school by picking it out of her lunch box. Recognising people - Looking at pictures then choosing her self out.

Dean and I are very proud of her and hope for only the bet to come. You ask her if she wants to go to non eyes and she shakes her head no

GOOD NEWS - twins on there way

My sister & her husband got there results yesterday, they had some test done on there unborn twins and the results were really good news and both were perfectly healthy.

I am sooooooooo happy for them both. I cant beleive how excited i am i have never been an aunt for 2. At least there will bbe no figting over who is holding a baby as there will be plenty to go round.

There has been a handful of things over the past few weeks and now this is off there chest they can concentrate on life and getting prepared for the bundles of joy

CONRADULATIONS TO BOTH AND I HOPE YOU ARE OVER THE MOON!!!!!!!

OLD BOY's update

THE STOMACH BUG IS A BACTERIA INFECTION. HE ACTUALLY IS ONLY A CARRIER AND DOES NOT HAVE THE BUG, BUT CAN BE PASSED ON QUITE EASILY TO OTHERS. SO MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES. GOWN, GLOVES AND WASH HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER EACH VISIT.

Spoke to dad again!!!! I cant help my self i ring every arvo and have a chat.It is only for a short period of time, and he said he does mind if i ring. He sounds heaps better, stll having the dialysis. 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He told mum she can go hme if she wants, so she is coming home or the weekend.Dean and i will visit her and take her out for tea or cook something special for her. Plus it is Deans birthday next week and everyone is busy plus he will be away so i wanted to let him no we still love him, and a nice tea would be good.

Hopefully when he picks up and the machines are available they might send dad to Wollongong which would be more feesable. I can actually drive to there and hope i dont get lost, i tend to get lost in my own town. Isn't that sad!

As dad is in a special room the kids are not allowed i so looks like bones should not visit, Dean ad I will visit the week after too as it is not fair on the kids and dean to drive all that way to sit in the car and i only see dad for 5 mins, plus i cant risk bring the infection home.

All in all the old boy is defiately getting better the process will be a long one though. He told me the last thing he remembers is coming home from work with chest pain. I asked was he scared or frightened he told me no.

Tomorrow off again for dialysis. The food is good, he ate chicken and vegies.A lot of people have rung and finally got to speak to him.

For the next 6 weeks he is only allowed to lift 5kg ,no more then a bucket full of water.

I have been over to there housing cleaning. I have washed curtains, floors etcTomorrow it is walls and lounge covers. this wll be a special welcome home to mother.

Mum is from now on staying at aunty heathers and rhondas that way she has company each night.

I spoke to dad about him returning back to work eventually and they said he will get some type of office job,but wil be on the close eye of salah, salah's always telling dad to slow down and not do so much but dad has always been a hard worker.

well enough for today thanks for your thoughts and prays

Dad in a different room

Well the poor man has been the hell and back now he has been moved again as he has a stomach bug and needs to be isolated. He is in his own room. Because there has been nothing in his stomach for some time it is going straight though him. He is going for dialysis 3 times a day and it takes a fair time to filter the blood so his day i kept busy. Poor mum keeps plodding along and needs a break.

Salah has organised her a new hotel which is like the pent house luxury 2 rooms but it is further away and she is actually fed u in moving and lugging every thing. The parking fees are costing her a mint.

Hope his belly settles down soon and gets better. Thanks for regualrlychecking i i like you leaving the comments. I have been making dad a progress notes diary so he can read exactly what has happened to him and when etc... I will be printing this out and the comments so he can read.

And if Lorinda you leave a comment it would be great to check your blog out and get in touch. please email me so we can have a look.Say hi to Aunty Joan too

Finally Dads on the mend

Gee this man is a fighter!!!!!

Well he moved out of intensive care today and is on the wards. He can now be contacted by phone which is beside his bed. Please contact me or Simone for the number.

He is still on dialysis as his kidneys are failing to get better. The vein calapsed last night so they had to place a shunt in this neck and reconnect the machine. His kidneys has 8 weeks to improve if theydont then he will permantley on dialysis, he has been placed on a strict diet. high protein and only 1.2 L of fluid daily.

He is suffering major pain to the groin as there is a blood clot, so he has been placed on Hepren to clear that.

Has lost a lot of weight which was to be expeced, hopefully when he gets better we can fatten him up. I finally got to see him for 5 mins on friday night, i brought him a card and 2 puzzle books.

He has 3 beautiful pictures of us kids, mum and the grand kids up. Simone has also made a lovley album.

He is very happy mum has been by his side all the time, and loves visitors or phone calls.

The family are going to try and make i up on the weekend.

day 11 continue

Found these pics of the old boy and mother, dont they look a hapy couple.

Just got off the phone from mum and she made it back to Sydney safely, her and pop are hitting the pub tonight for tea.

Dad has made a great recovery over the past few days and we all are very pleased. He was having a irregular heart beat yesterday and today the medication seem to have fixed it up and it is beat good.

Today i got onto the computer and looked up everything dad has had done to him and what exactly has happened so i can tell him when he is better and also for my own understanding. I have been keeping a regular diary entry for dad so he can read day to day progress, and how he nilly passed away.

They never ended up removing the tubes from dads throat today as he still has a lot of mucus and congestion on his lungs and if he coughed it would hurt.

Spoke to the nurse looking after dad and she said his scar looks excellent no infection dry and sewn well.

Dad was awake and alert a little, mum asked dad did he no who she was and if he did to squeeze her hand, he nilly squeezed fingers off. Mum was so happy he could recognise her. Mum and dad have been married for some time now, 30 or so years and have been dating before that. They are best friends as well as a good couple.

Mum was starting to worry me last week as she is not sleeping or eating but looked heaps better yesterday, eating and sleeping slightly.

She came home last night and she felt like she was home but was missing dad.

Day 11

Another 2 successful days. Mum is now at home for last night to tidy a few things up down this way. She will be heading back to Sydney with pop a later on during the day.

Yesterday Shawn went to visit dad and he said dad's its your boy and dad woke straight away and looked at shawn so that was a positive.

Today the doctors have removed some more tubes and are attempting to remove tube from his mouth. The tubes in his mouth are designd to suck the congestion fom dads lungs. Luckly he does not have pnemonia. also the other tubes are a feeding tube and a breathing device.

The colour of dads complexion is great and the wounds seem to be healing good. There is deep tissue bruising. His chest scar is quiet unique and he can tell the boys at work it was from a fishing accident. It is approximately 20cm. his arms are very prickly where they had to shave him.

Or in Or much good progress and hopefully he contiunes today.

Day 9

well lucky mum and simone was removed from that hotel last night as there was a stabbing there, i cant believe people live like that, and how that motel would make money.
Anyways they have been moved to another hotel and it is much bigger, better and cleaner.

Not much change in dad today doctors are still very pleased in his progress, and he is more stablised..... They will keep continuing to cut back the sedation and eventually ween him right off all together.

Cooper and Dean off to get Deans truck ready to head off first thing in the morning 3am to Syd. I work tonight 5 to 10pm. We went to the motor expo at the show ground, it was packed and there was a lot of interesting things there. Deans company JD entered there new trucks in so hopefully they win something.

Well thanks for checking in and i hope to have more good news on day each day. kase
