Clean Up

Well since my hours have dropped i thought i would use this time wisely. So i have had a major clean up. I have managed to do 2 runs to the tip. The house looks much better less crowded and neat. I still need to wash the walls in the lounge room then i am done. I made curtains for charlees room out of an old doona and it looks girly.

Tomorrow cooper has his athletic carnival and i am gunna go watch him.

Charlee is allowed to wear out of uniform as it is jeans for genes day. I brought her a new pair and have got a donation to send into school.

Tonight we are having take away, cooper has settled for a cheese burger. I am really tired from working around the house and also i washed the car.

DH in Albion Park, ready to unload tomorrow am then he is home for the week.

BBQ

Check our new Barbie out! Its a dream and can cook a made feed.

Just need some visitors so we can cook, well DH always away so every week end we have a BBQ lunch.

Gunna invite old girl and dad over for lunch when dad gets better. Oh yeah plus bones and shawn's families.

I can stand

These pics were taken a few months back, they are of Charlee in her standing frame at Havenlee.

She goes in the standing frame daily for approximately an hour. Every friday she goes swimming and absolutely loves it

I have noticed lately her legs are getting very strong and he loves to stand.

At home he knees up to the TV cabinet, by pulling herself up.

Maybe one day she will be strong enough to do all this with out aides but we are very happy with her progress and her acheivements so far!!!!

Mr. Cooper's Bounce n' Slide journey

As you can see by Cooper's Face he had a good time and he was buggered.

We stayed any hour and his face was red raw and when we came home he had lunch then slept.Yes i brought him Macer's for lunch. The week before Cooper was unwell and we had also done nothing for the school holidays so i had to treat him to something.

He got to play with a few of the big kids and was calling them friends. Great to see him interacting with others and not shy.

Miss Charlee's trip to Bounce n' Slide

Well during the holidays Charlee was a little unwell as most of yo guys no, but there was one day where we managed to sneak out and have some fun at Bounce n' Slide.

As you can see Charlee had fun on the Care Bear car, where mum pushed her around.

She also had a go in the ball pit were se met some young friends, she babbled away to them until it was time to go home.

Decreased hours at work

Finally decreased my hours at work i am now only working 27.5 hours per fortnight. So i am looking for some work during the days. I am still available for call ins and pick extra shifts up here and there.

This way i dont have to rely on any one to have my kids.

I have approach Havenlee to see working as an aide.

Financially we cant afford to do this but the kids need me at night.

Relaxing Back

Today was an amazing day.

All the girls gathered at Aunty gails and we had a good pamper.

We had a massage bed, facials, foot sps and hand manicures.

The day took a good few hours but well worth it.

Aunt Cath and Hayles took some pics so i hope they up load them & you can check them out.

Miss Charlee had fun in the foot spa with her hands and she splashed water every where. Mr Cooper was well behaved and had a foot spa.

I gave Cathy a facial adn her skin was glowing by the time i finished.

Since i got home i have been laying on the Lounge half a sleep. I think i need to take more care of my skin and self and should treat my self to a pamper regularly.

Was going to look at new cars to day but Miss Lady has woken up unwell and we are on round 2. She had a small seizure this am but nothing to drastic, no she is jittery so i have called her jitterbug.
Poor darli'. I have dragged the porta cot out so she can rest in the lounge room with us and be cofortable

Miss Charlee REALLY unwell

The past 2 days have been so horrible for Miss Charlee, she has had over 8 seizures and is really unwell.

This time round has been the worst ever, we have experienced with her.

She has been in and out of hospital and currently is asleep as she had a few fits over night and is exhausted...

We now currently have a medication we put up her nose when she fits and it ceases the seizure and sedates her. The medication is madazapan. i think thats how it is spelt.

They took some bloods and her white blood cell count was fine... She had a slight temp which was 37.6 so nothing to high. I spent a good few hours trying to collect a urine sample but thatwas to no avail.

They ave increased her epilium to 3 tablets BD(Twice a day). As she has grown her dose has not changed for over 1 year. she currently weighs in at 17kgs.

Please have her in your thoughts

Last night she had an episode again but it was a miner seizure and only lasted 1min.

Old Kase not feeling the best

Well today i woke upfeeling half dead, i suffering fromm a killer virus.
My head throbbing, vomiting, hot and cold flushes. I have been onn adn off all day. Miss Charlee girl had 2 vomits but no sign of anything, i have been giving her panadol just in case.

I went and got so medication and pain kellers and have been home all day. the bath was the best. DH home within 2 hours so i can have a rest and he will play with the kids, i think it is gunna be a quite weekend.

Aunty Gail survived the day

well on day down and another to go, Aunty Gail said they both were good and she even had a smile on her face so they cant have been to bad. Royce and Megan helped out and megan changed her first babies bottom and let me tell ya she nailed it. They were a little worried as charlee can have the odd seizure but she never..

Off all week

I have been off ork all week with a sick little man the house has been peaceful but gee he has been unwell.

I even brought him macers to see if can get him to eat and that was a no go. he only ate 1/2 a cheese burger.

Got my tax done today and i am getting a nice little packets so i am heaps happy.... DH had a new interviews with the police over the accident in March. He now in Melb..... well driving that way

I spoe to my old boy over the phone he doing well and hopes to b home soon. Mum doing well stressed as usual, but dealing with things well. She has at pops for tea tonight and aunty heather down visiting.

Looks like i am off to work tomorrow, i have con' ed aunty Gail for the next 2 days to have the kids and Royce is helping out, i hope cooper is a good boy and royce can tire him out.... Both as looking forward to spending time with them.

Finaly have done the xmas layby's so that is out of the way. I hope to be in bed early i estimate 8pm. been heaps tired lately, DH snoring in my ear all night to kids up early etc etc etc

In a few weeks work is having a biggest loser competition and i am gunna join it. who know i might be able to win and be slim jim.

Funding for Charlee Girl

I received a phone call today from the disability trust who have some cash on there hands and need to off load some so they suggested me. I have just been approved for some more nappies and baby wipes which have been a great saver for our family.

They are also going o fund a new heater to warm the house, special utensils and drinking devices, a bath device that allows me to lower charlee into the bath with out hurting my back.

Next they are thinking of a mechanical bed and lifting devices. They keep rushng for respite which i am not keen, as she is at school 5 days a week and i work sunday arvos. so my DH is home on the weekend and needs to spend time with her. Fair enough for the future and is good to get her on the system.

Good news in the camp Dean and I have completed the mission australia support program so we get to exit this week. It is a program set u to support families that struggle in life and with life. It is a good program.

Finally got the carpet cleaned at home and it has come up well and fresh. it only cost $70.00.

My little man is unwell with te flu adn has a high temp but gee he has been good, lounge lizard....

New financial year

looks like another one has come and gone. hope this year we are gunna be financially better off.

Kaycees week

Not much happening over the past week besides worked 6 days straight and i have the next 2 ays off... DH finished work Thrsday arvo so we had days with him at home, which was great. I brought him a new BBQ and the underbelly DVD for his birthday.

Over the weekend we went and visited my dad and we spent a good 2 hour with him.Last night he has been moved to Rehab wards so that should mean he is allowed home in a few weeks. I rubbed cream on his feet to try and loosen the dead skin. He got a load of visitors to so it made him happy and kept his mind busy.

DH on his way home from doing a few runs yesterday, he is so tired and cranky, he needs urgent sleep and a mad feed. Poor babe.

Last nigth while i worked Cooper was in full form and decided to trash the house. Well when i arrived he soon cleaned up, i made him chuck his DVD's out that were laying around. He had spilt coco pops and milk all over his floor, flooded the bath and water spilt all over the carpet, and now i stinks, Burnt the doona as he chucked it over the heater. Ate the house out and beat up the baby sitters little boy. I was so Peaved and angry with him, it is so hard these days to get anyone to have my kids let alone a naughty boy. I think after last night he woud not be game to be naughty again.

I have an appointment with a solicator today, the lady that hit our car back on November 2007, has no cash to fix it so we have to tke her to court to strt garnishing her centrelink payments. a whooping $10.00 per fortnight. thats disgusting.

Other that then thats been my week. Boring as usual.
